EAA Sanctions Register

Every confirmed sanction under the European Accessibility Act, across all 27 EU countries. Each entry links to the decision itself or to the authority’s own register — nothing here comes from a news story alone.

Sanctions

Newest first. Amounts as the authority states them, in the original currency.

Supervision under way, no sanction yet

Not in the register. Open inspections and dismissed cases we have read are listed here so that “none yet” on the map below means we looked and found nothing published, not that nobody is looking. Each links to the authority’s or the court’s own text.

Where we look

For each country, the authority its national law names for e-commerce: its register, decisions or press releases, plus a news search in the country’s own language.

Dashed: the authority’s website blocks automated access, so we can’t check it daily like the others. For Lithuania we read the published decisions of the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority by hand once a month, and watch the news in between. A Lithuanian sanction can reach this page up to a month late. Greece names no e-commerce authority; we watch the telecoms regulator EETT.

What counts

In the register

  • A fine or order against a named business
  • Under a country’s EAA law, or a court applying it
  • Backed by the decision or the authority’s own publication

Not in it

  • Warnings, inspections and open investigations
  • “Fines of up to…” — the maximum a law allows
  • Cases dismissed by a court
