About Peculiar Systems
Who we are
Peculiar Systems is an independent software studio based in Tbilisi, Georgia. We are a small team, we started in 2026, and we work remotely. There is no sales department: every message to the studio is read and answered by a person who works on the products.
What we build
- Compliance checks — ShopOffen, a free automatic accessibility check for online shops under the European Accessibility Act; DryRun, a pre-audit of driver files and truck documents for small US fleets.
- Data feeds from public registries — FirstFile, new business registrations in Colorado, cleaned and delivered every morning; PreOpen, UK restaurants and bars preparing to open.
- Developer tools — InvoiceIn, one API for every e-invoice format a European business receives; peculiar-rpc and Peculiar Insights, free and open source under the MIT licence.
- Done-for-you work — SponsorReady, a sponsorship kit for creators.
The full list, with what each product costs where a price exists, is on the home page and on Pricing.
Open data and notes
Research we do for a product is published when it is useful to others. The EAA Sanctions Register lists every confirmed sanction under the European Accessibility Act across the 27 EU countries, each linked to its source, as CSV and JSON under CC BY 4.0. Our Notes are write-ups with a source for every figure.
How we work
- Primary sources first. We aim for every claim on our pages to point to the law, the register, the decision or the regulator’s own release, not to a summary of one.
- Ship, then sharpen. Each product is small enough to launch in weeks, then improved with the people who use it.
- Accessible by default. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA and scan our own pages with the same tool ShopOffen uses — see the Accessibility Statement.
